Excerpt from "The Multiverse, the Gods, Magic, and other matters." By Half Alder the Ascetic:
There are, in the Father God's creation, an infinite amount of planes, but there are five central worlds; my home plane, Eilendor, or the natural world, Lorria, or the Fairy World, the home of magic and fey, such as elves, eldar, and gnomes, the Shadowmare or Null, a bleak, gloomy world, full of creatures like dyft, og or terror giants, and specters, Therrkgr or the Primeaval Chaos or Limbo, a hellish plane, full of tumbling elements and elementals, djinni, and titans, and the Aether Realm, a starlit haven, home to the gods, anruvali, and dunruvali.
Though I am neither a magician or planeswalker, I have not actually been to any other plane, even on Midsummer, when Lorria and Shadowmare drift so close to Eilendor, the planar walls are smudged out momentarily, I have found several planeswalkers and wizards to talk to.
Concerning Eilendor: Eilendor is the central plane of the Multiverse, made up of three major land masses; Thedea, Athon, and the Northmark, and two oceans; Cerulean and Ulithian. The major populace of my home plane are Men, my own race, orcs, goblins, dwarves, trolls, hodar, nellbril, and suarak. The races of Eilendor live throughout all three continents, and the major islands; the Caldi Isles, Alvar, and Silad. The most widespread race is probably men, with eight major kingdoms (Alvurea, Althor, Pirna and Than on Naldagor, Zurza and Morgoi on Intari, and Yazrell and Nendros on Elben.) with some smaller kingdoms and barbarian tribes here and there. Also Silad is full of races around the world, in the city Pirateshaven, Alvar is inhabited by mostly orcs, trolls, and humans, and the Caldis are mostly human inhabited.
Famous Locations: Bator-Gotha: a massive city on Naldagor, built on the banks of the Naldor River. Founded by the two legendary heroes Bator the Red and Gotha Brighthammer, Bator (the north section)-Gotha (the southern part) is home to people of every race of Eilendor, and some denizens of Lorria and Null, the slave market is big in Bator-Gotha, held up by the dark elves of Lorria, along with the black market and black magic market, housed in the backrooms and alleyways of Bator. Bator-Gotha is not ruled by a king or council, but by the Ten Guilds claim and fight for power over Bator-Gotha.
The City of Fallen Heroes: a city built primarily of marble, no one knows who built it, but now the heroes and wanderers of Eilendor make their homes there. The city is surrounded by an eighty foot high wall, with four gates, a north, south, east and west, and full of grand buildings and architecture, also it has a statue for every hero of Eilendor now past.
