Kelnin follows the necromancer.

Kelnin woke to find the village being overrun by zombies, he saw elves being ripped apart and devoured by the animated corpses, children screaming and trying to run, but the undead must feed every now and then.  Kelnin looked for his spear, it lay by his side, broken and smoldering, so he had to go without it.  He flipped up his hood and ran for the woods, leaving the little town behind.  After a time, the forest turned into open meadows, and Kelnin lay down to rest, he was after all, very tired from the last few days.  He had a dream he was over Faelir Forest, and he could see Nanlyr and Lyia, and his former House.  But then a great shadow fell over all the people he used to know, lightning streaked from the sky, trees withered, everyone ran for cover.  Kelnin turned around, a black figure was slowly flying to the forest, withering everything it flew over, he then heard screams, and saw, down below, undead corpses running through much of the fey kingdoms and forests, he saw Lyia grasped by a zombie, and then- Kelnin woke with a start, stars twinkled over head as he got up and continued on his way after a drink.  Kelnin was not a hero person, he ran from trouble if he could, even if that meant others would die, so he blew of the dream as not enough food, water, and rest.  As the sun was rising, Kelnin No-house reached a town, and went directly to the drinking fountain, but found elf bodies littering the street, he looked around for anyone alive, and saw none.  A voice in his head told him this was the necromancer, Nallden's doing, he decided to not go in the direction of the necromancer.  But as he left the village, he heard a cough, Kelnin spun around, it was an elf lying in the road, Kelnin came up to him.
"Who did this, friend?"  He asked.  The elf coughed and replied.
"It was an evil wizard, he struck the town with plague, and hurled lightning at us, I think I am the only one to survive," he paused to cough, "He went, let us see, that way," the elf pointed north, "Toward Faelir Forest."  Immediately, Kelnin's thoughts turned toward Lyia, but he thought the necromancer would not dare attack the capital forest of the high elf lands.  So he laid the elf down and walked away off into the night, away from Faelir, or so he thought, but the Father God had another plan.
