Andras` tale.

Andras` thought for a moment, then began.
"Twenty years ago, when I was twenty-seven, I traveled to a far east kingdom during my travels as a young knight.  I was given a grand room, with a fancy bed and decor, but when the servant left, seventeen ninjas burst through the windows!" He paused remembering the moment, "So I picked two up, one in each hand, and threw them out the window, I bashed two ninjas` head together, then I punch four of them cold, I smacked one up side the head, beat up a few others, and five got away.  When I asked the servant, he said he didn't know, but I saw him crossing his fingers, so he clenched his fists, squinched his eyes closed and said, "Do`h!"

The next day I wanted to find out more about these ninjas, first I looked for thieve`s guilds and secret hideouts.  But to no avail, those ninjas seemingly disappeared, but I discovered something one night while I was looking around, that the servant was a sorcerer and a doppleganger! (an extraterrestrial from another plane, called Orcus) now you all may know that dopplegangers can shape-shift, so then," Andras stopped to clear his throat, "he noticed me, because I was standing in the doorway, then he took out a hand crossbow, shot it and the bolt grazed my side.  But then I leaped forward with my sword and whacked off his right arm, he then turned back to normal form, and died, I realized he died because he had stabbed himself.  The next day, the ninjas struck again, but I repelled them, then I realized they were all gnomes.  So I grabbed one by the ear and demanded to know what they were doing, he said we had accidently switched bags at the border guard, so we switched bags, I remembered know that my clothes were small.  And that was the end of it all."

Everyone was looking Andras, they all agreed it was a strange story, but would meet back here on the 'morrow.

Thistleberry tales.

Once in a town called Thistleberry, six people heading to different destinations found themselves in the same room at Thistleberry`s biggest inn, The Sleepy Goblin .  One of them was named Sir Andras Durrnson, a male knight from the West, the second was called Gnawain Golsh, he was a gnome bard, another named Dihlah Levorenn, a female elf magician, the fourth person was Gargor-Rulgr, a male orc wilderness outrider, another figure was Rusik Durrurrson Ikvar, a male dwarf warrior, the final person was Thepores, an adventurer from Treshen.  After the mid class dinner, they all retired to there room, but couldn't really sleep because of the loud september wind.  Then Gnawain suggested they pass the time by telling stories, they all gathered around the fire place, Andras went first...

( This is only part one of this tale, which will continue for the next few days.)

The baled of Gnelf Gnef.

There once was a gnome wizard named Gnelf Gnef , who traveled the world seeking knowledge.  But one day, human pirates attacked the ship and stole Gnelf`s spell book and wand, then sold him to orcs dressed as business men.  The orcs took poor Gnelf to their tribe were they tied him to a pole with magic restraining rope, then proceeded to beat him with oak poles, a short nap, then they beat him again.  Finally, the orcs realized that they had been beating Gnelf so much he couldn't do any work, so they sold him to a family of goblins, who splash hot oil on him for no reason.  By that time, Gnelf realized he could work his magic, so he threw a few acid balls then hit the road, where he was captured by human thugs and was hit with clubs.  By the end, Gnelf discovered the most important piece of knowledge, he was a gnome, and they are very weak and cowardly (most of the time) they also spend a lot of their time under their covers.  And for the rest of his life, Gnelf Gnef never left his house again.

Knights of the Few.

One misty September morning, 225 knights assembled themselves on a bridge leading to Farrvell, the capital city of the kingdom Alvurea.  225 men and women lined up, spears in front, to battle the horde of orcs and goblins approaching Adarvd.  Their goal was, at least, delay the horde enough so the people could get away, that meant delaying a horde of 90, 000.  The Regnasa army could not help because most of them were killed by grey elves, and the remaining helped the citizens escape.  The bridge, wolfang bridge, was long, broad, and filed out, with little towers and stuff like that, the knights positioned themselves at the beginning of the bridge and archers in the towers and in the hills nearby.  The horde reached them at around dawn, the fighting went on for three days straight, some died from wounds others died from exhaustion.  On the evening of the third day the only knight standing was a drow, of an unknown name, and single handedly killed 250 orcs and goblins until he was overwhelmed.  If you ever find your self in Advard, there is a black marble statue of the drow and a memorial of the knights who gave their lives to save the kingdom.

City fight.

"One of Randy`s findings was the plans for a tank-like machine, like the Beast, but not as developed.  We didn't know what to think, those plans were fairly advanced, we did not expect this [energy blast] Beast`s machinery some what different, better treds, a laser cannon, advanced targeting, and very strong armor.  [a ton of gun shots] You may be thinking why I`m recording in the middle of a battle, well I`m nice and sa-[close by gun shot] okay that almost got me, so I`m going to walk away now. [a few minutes later] Sgt. McClain is rather excited about his new automatic [enthusiastic yelling and rapid gun fire] And I must say the battle is going rather well, WHOA!!  What the heck is tha-[explosion] NOT FAIR!  How come they get an fighter jet.  Well I've said a nice amount now, I`m going to kick their a-[soldiers yelling and gun shots]

How much land does a man need?

Was written by Leo Tolstoy, it is about a man named Pakhom, who said he would get so much land that he`d fear no one, not even the Devil so the Devil made sure he got enough land.  Pakhom got some land in his village, but he grew tired of the people there so he moved to another village.  There he also got some land, but a merchant told him about the Bashkirs, a group of people who lived by vast amounts of unowned land.  The Bashkirs flat rate was one thousand roubles a day, for as much land you can walk around in a day, so Pakhom agreed.  Early the next morning, he set out with a spade, for every so often you`re supposed to dig a hole, Pakhom kept walking and taking more land until it was nearly nighttime, so he hurried back to the Bashkir crowd.  Just as the sun set, he leaped to the starting point, and was dead of exhaustion, so his workman buried him.
