Homo Cosmicus.
It's the year 3089, the human species has devolved another step, though most still call it evolution. They call themselves H. Cosmicus, the humans of the future, masters of the stars and worlds. The Milky Way has been colonized by mankind. Faith in God still prevails, though the average, secular human has no time for faith and the persecution of: there are still stellar codes to crack, evolutionary links to be made, worlds to be industrialized, and so forth. The frontiers of science of the 21st century were achieved long ago, now though, there are new unknown things in the unimaginably big universe. The Homo Cosmicus, is always discovering more and more science. Or are they? Are they just rediscovering facts that we knew in our long, ancient past? We don't evolve, we wear down, we devolve: even our bodies degenerate, we get old and die. The men of the future only live for an average of fifty years, though technology has allowed them to live extended, bastardized lives. The only way for mankind and the universe to truly change is through one person, Jesus Christ.

It was good until you mentioned jebbus christ
Nigger
3089? It's going to take significantly more tha another 1,000 years to reach the next step in evolution. Add 2 zeroes after that 3 and maybe we're talking.
First of all, I'm white, no need to offend people. Second, mentioning Jesus is just stating my personal beliefs on my own blog. If you don't like it you don't have to read it. Finally, I think I will change the date in the post by adding some more digits. Thank you for your comments.
Homo Cosmicus ah an old one for me. Homo Cosmicus translated from Latin literally means "The men of the cosmos" Or if you want to interpret it like this "Men of the stars" so really if you use that knowledge the only way we could ever be Homo Cosmicus is if we literally live and thrive in space... Which really is just around the corner when you really think about it Ill do some math for you to show you lets say the year is 100 AD we have 5 million people on this earth at the time (just an example) with that people will be more spread out which means it takes longer for certain people to get together and discuss ideas that they may have and there is also less people which means a lesser chance that one of them will be a super wiz in the science category so it would take much longer for one breakthrough to happen. Although now we have 7 billion people (roughly) so when you do the math i believe that's a little bit more then 5 million so wait that's a lot more brains right? Well that's more brains to think of how to do something right? Ever heard the expression two heads are better than one? well 7 billion is better than 5 million (as long as there all not attached to each other that would be one heck of a mess) so we have more brains pondering just random science stuff... thats how breakthroughs start right? so everytime a baby is born (that will grow up to even have the slightest clue about anything science) they contribute to the science community and where am i getting with all this is probably what ur thinking but put it this way it wouldn't take a thousand years to develope that kind of technology it could take as little as 200 years for all we know... for all we know aleins could come down to earth tommorow and drop off a spaceship powered by antimatter and can go 5 times the speed of light we never know how long advancedments will take to advance. Right now if you really think about it... we are homo cosmicus we have people in a space station dont we? so thereforth in my eyes we ARE homo Cosmicus
EARTH or The Planet Ocean, is Becoming to have too many people clumped together in certain areas at a given time and basicly, this is happening worldwide. This world is increasing the number of people in it while the necessities of life are becoming scarce-1.Food,2.laws,energy,3.Sense of morality (Please don't stand so close to me),Too many personalities for 1 Planet(area in the Universe):We should decide to venture out Into other Galixies B4 it becomes too late for our world. Bad things can happen when it't so crowded.
Do you people even science?!
What a disgusting distortion of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky's great vision of our future! You have succeeded in creating a kind of hell in your own mind. Now you want to spread this filth to others? This is typical of what religion does to people's minds and I pity you for it.
