"I'm going in, do you want to stay out here?" Artemis asked his friend. The wizard took his sleeping black cat familiar out of a bag.
"No, I'll come in with you. Can never be to careful with these black magic types." Aen unsheathed a hand-and-a-half sword from his back. Artemis approached the door, a gargoyle leaped down in front him. It was about to speak, but Artemis pushed it away with his will. Once inside the eerie tower, Artemis and Aen made their way to through the dusty bookshelves and piles of junk, to the stairs, they climbed to the very bottom room. In the room were the warlocks who owned the tower, sitting around a table. The wizard and his friend approached the table;
"Greetings, gentlewarlocks, one witch's heart, as you requested." He pulled a cloth sack out of his pocket, a steady, sickening thump came from the bag. "Now do you have what I want?" The warlocks greedily took the bag, "Killing a witch is no simple feat, how did you do it?" Asked the head warlock. Artemis gestured to himself and his brawny friend with a sword, "Simple." He said. One of the warlocks handed Artemis a sack, finally, he thought, it has paid off. He opened the sack to find some coal with a single word "Ce fien", or "We tricked". Suddenly the floor gave way beneath him and Aen, so they fell in to blackness.
