The kingdom of Althor lies north of Alvurea, and is home to tough, strong Men. The Althorns are usually taller then all their cousin Men, except for Pirnans, are fair skinned and fair haired. The Men of the North do not uphold an education as strongly as the Alvureans, but more an education in warfare, for many Althorns love wrestling and swordsmanship. Althor is known for it's drunk battle berserkers, and mighty long swords. Althor is ruled by a king, who lives in Falaraan, a great port city. Both Alvurea and Althor speak Althrin.
Pirna, the Human kingdom of the south, is a land of wide, grassy plains, a hot sun, and roving herders. Pirnans were the last of the Humans to settle down into a kingdom, so they are still slightly nomadic, within their own lands. Pirnans are tall, tan skinned, and dark haired people, good at riding horses and using bows, and the Pirnan people get along with not very many other Men, or Yargal, and Orcs, but they do get along with Nyaari, Hodar, and the Durso Dwarf clan. Pirna is ruled by warlords, but those warlords answer to a chief, who rules from the capital of Cenzinto. The Men of the South are known for their good aim, intelligence, and love for gold, and their poetic language, Pirni.
The island nation of Zurza lies far to the east, and is ruled by a shogun in the city Hysho. the Zurzans are respectable, and courteous, but many of them know how to wield a katana, they are a people of standard height, yellow skin, black hair, and angular features. Zurza is known for it's ninjas and samurai knights, though Zurza is closed to outsiders. The Zurzan kingdom is split up over the Zurza Archipelago, a series of five major islands and twenty small ones. Zurzans speak Zurzese.
The fifth Human kingdom, is the heathen nation of Than, a kingdom of humans who are quite obsessed with occultism and arcane powers. Thans closely resemble their Alvurean cousins, though usually,Thans have more pointed jaws and noses. Than is ruled by a steward and parliament, the kings of Than died away long ago, the capital is Tha-usir. The Men of the East are known for the Than Mage Knights, knights who are resistant to spells and protect the magicians of Than's army, the Mage Knights wield strange, vorpal blades, and use tower shields to protect their magician masters. Unlike the four other kingdoms of Men, Than does not worship the Father God, but instead has it's own pantheon of false gods. The people of Than do not get along well with other Men, and many of the other races in Eilendor, they do get along with Dark Elves and Night Elves, and are fine with Ellsidur and Yargal. The people of Than dress in robes and toga-like clothing and speak thanin.
Yazrell, is a nation of desert folk, south of Pirna. The yazrelli were once godless nomads, but after years of aimless wandering, the prophet Yazrei was given a vision by the Father God to lead his people to Mt. Rellgos, where the faithful yazrelli became the chosen of the Father God and built a city, Yarzol. Yazrelli are of medium height, 5' 5" to 6' 0", brown-skinned, dark haired and dark eyed. Yazrelli usually lead strict, religious lives, many males become priests, all have a copy of the Holy Tome. Yazrell is ruled by three judges, who interpret the commands of the Father God, and they live in the temple at Yarzol. The yazrelli speak Yazrellic.
