Men, and their kingdoms.

Men are the most populous race in Eilendor, living in five separate kingdoms.  Long ago, Men lived in many different nomadic tribes, but over time found lands they liked, and settled there.  The oldest nation is Alvurea, a land of small villages, grand castles, knights, and large cities.  Alvurea is ruled by a king and queen, and eight councils, the Council of Generals, Merchants, Scholars, Sages (spellcasters), Guards, Priests, Attaches, and Chamberlains, the government of Alvurea is in the ancient city of Abdvard.  The people of Alvurea, are a strong-willed people, favor educations, they are a business like people, and they are also fairly chivalrous people, and many nobles go on to become knights. The Alvureans are white skinned, brown, black, blond haired, and are of average height.  Alvureans get along well with the Zurzans and Althorns, and the Delvairian Elves, the Bulduur clan of Dwarves, and most Gnomes.  
The kingdom of Althor lies north of Alvurea, and is home to tough, strong Men.  The Althorns are usually taller then all their cousin Men, except for Pirnans, are fair skinned and fair haired.  The Men of the North do not uphold an education as strongly as the Alvureans, but more an education in warfare, for many Althorns love wrestling and swordsmanship.  Althor is known for it's drunk battle berserkers, and mighty long swords.  Althor is ruled by a king, who lives in Falaraan, a great port city.  Both Alvurea and Althor speak Althrin.
Pirna, the Human kingdom of the south, is a land of wide, grassy plains, a hot sun, and roving herders.  Pirnans were the last of the Humans to settle down into a kingdom, so they are still slightly nomadic, within their own lands.  Pirnans are tall, tan skinned, and dark haired people, good at riding horses and using bows, and  the Pirnan people get along with not very many other Men, or Yargal, and Orcs, but they do get along with Nyaari, Hodar, and the Durso Dwarf clan.  Pirna is ruled by warlords, but those warlords answer to a chief, who rules from the capital of Cenzinto.  The Men of the South are known for their good aim, intelligence, and love for gold, and their poetic language, Pirni.
The island nation of Zurza lies far to the east, and is ruled by a shogun in the city Hysho.  the Zurzans are respectable, and courteous, but many of them know how to wield a katana, they are a people of standard height, yellow skin, black hair, and angular features.  Zurza is known for it's ninjas and samurai knights, though Zurza is closed to outsiders.  The Zurzan kingdom is split up over the Zurza Archipelago, a series of five major islands and twenty small ones.  Zurzans speak Zurzese.
The fifth Human kingdom, is the heathen nation of Than, a kingdom of humans who are quite obsessed with occultism and arcane powers.  Thans closely resemble their Alvurean cousins, though usually,Thans have more pointed jaws and noses.  Than is ruled by a steward and parliament, the kings of Than died away long ago, the capital is Tha-usir.  The Men of the East are known for the Than Mage Knights, knights who are resistant to spells and protect the magicians of Than's army, the Mage Knights wield strange, vorpal blades, and use tower shields to protect their magician masters.  Unlike the four other kingdoms of Men, Than does not worship the Father God, but instead has it's own pantheon of false gods.  The people of Than do not get along well with other Men, and many of the other races in Eilendor, they do get along with Dark Elves and Night Elves, and are fine with Ellsidur and Yargal.  The people of Than dress in robes and toga-like clothing and speak thanin. 
Yazrell, is a nation of desert folk, south of Pirna.  The yazrelli were once godless nomads, but after years of aimless wandering, the prophet Yazrei was given a vision by the Father God to lead his people to Mt. Rellgos, where the faithful yazrelli became the chosen of the Father God and built a city, Yarzol.  Yazrelli are of medium height, 5' 5" to 6' 0", brown-skinned, dark haired and dark eyed.  Yazrelli usually lead strict, religious lives, many males become priests, all have a copy of the Holy Tome.  Yazrell is ruled by three judges, who interpret the commands of the Father God, and they live in the temple at Yarzol.  The yazrelli speak Yazrellic.

The Galactic Empire-Adronus Encyclopedia.

The Galactic Empire was formed in the post-orsorsus days by a foreign and mysterious person.  Archaeologists discovered an ancient tablet on the urub planet of Inco, with the emperor's name on it, Tal'quurssri-eram, a name from none of the languages within the Adronus galaxy.  Some centuries after the orsorsus, and long before modern humans, Tal came from a galaxy not far from the Adronus, in a strange living crystal ship, and landed on the empty tomb world of Orveneus prime, from there, he went to Dius.  He gathered a small army, and slowly conquered Dius, than it's twin, Ius.  Tal started to gather an enormous army, to carry out his plan, a galactic empire, he claimed all the planets along the Galxthr Run and the Urub Spice Lane.  His empire grew even more, until it covered the whole galaxy.  And it was Tal who was angered by the inhabitants of Tezva, and partially destroyed their world.  Tal came from a very long lived race, and a tough race, many assassins tried to kill the emperor, none succeeded.  Then, a g'ul stargazer foretold the fall of the Empire, which by then had lasted  two thousand years, and not long after, a human warlord led an army to Dius and destroyed the capital, but the emperor fled to his secret fort on Kerron, and there the Galactic Empire had it's last stand, but in the long, bloody battle, the human Zunn, cut of Tal's head.  The remnants of the Empire were picked of by barbarians, but along with the fall of the Empire, hyperdrive technology was lost, until finally reinvented by tua and galxthoricans.  The only two species able to avoid Empire control, were the uruzad, a radioactive race, and the carisytes, parasitic species.
A note on Galactic Empire technology:  though the Empire used space flight, until it was lost for several hundred years, otherwise, they used simple steam or coal powered machinery, but used swords, spears, bows and arrows and metal armor in warfare.    

The Drifting Probes-Adronus Encyclopedia.

These strange, alien, primitive satellite probes were found years ago not far from the Rim.  The Drifting Probes have proven to many scientists and encyclopedists that there is life out side of the Adronus.  There was a reoccurring symbol on many of them, a rectangle with on roughly fourth of it, in the upper left corner, is blue with fifty white stars, the rest of the rectangle is filled with horizontal red and white stripes.  There were also strange glyphs carved into the probes, like "Voyager 2" and "Galileo".  These archaic satellites seemed to have com from the Myrik 2 galaxy, but many astronomers are not sure where they came from.  They are now on display in the Xzeus prime Museum of Science, and are a great interest to astrobiologists and astroarcheaologists.

The World Builders and Star Folk,-Adronus Encyclopedia.

The world builders and star folk are names given to two factions of the same race, the orsorsus.  The orsorsus were the first species in the Adronus galaxy, originating on the dawn world of Orveneus prime, the star folk were orsorsus who invented hyper drives, and traveled all over the galaxy, and named it Adronus which means "The hand of Adru (Adru was the god in orsorsus religion) and the star folk also went far from the Adronus, from Myirk 2, all the way to Pandella.  The star folk lived in a ship that had been to one end of the universe and back, called the Starwalker Galactica.  The world builders stayed in the Adronus and built the planets; Rama, Coorgu, Ultara, Tezva (the Half-World), Norine, and Orveneus delta.  The builders also discovered many early, primitive species, and helped evolve the urubs, tua, tarzak, early prothesnos, and a few other species.  The world builders also made two giant super weapons, the Planet Architect, was made to construct and destroy planets, the Siamese, Uruzarian, and Ragosian asteriod fields were made by destroyed planets.  Long before humans arrived in the Adronus galaxy, the builders and their super weapons, and the secret to building planets, the Genesis Codex, disappeared, though the Planet Architect was found by xenos walkers and used to partly destroy Tedzun, thus making it The Half-World.  The star folk died out not long after the builders, taking the location to the Star walker Galactica, with them .  No one knows what orsorsus looked like, but the language they spoke was orveni.

The Galxthorican Confederacy.

The Galxthoricans come from the planet Galxthr, and are a technology loving race.  They are short, 4 feet tall, silicon-based life form, with tough,orange skin, coarse hair on their arms, and four eyes.  Galxthoricans are the engineers of the Confederacy  Zifonians are from the planet Zifon, and are human height, broad shoulders, rough, gray skin, silicon based, bald, and are used in the heavy lifting jobs.  Maldos are short, like their galxthorican cousins, hail from the planet Jymor, copper-based, brown skinned, but other wise look like humans.  Maldos have hair like humans, and in the same places, and are usually intelligent, and are the architects, and explorers of the Confederacy, but do not get along well with zifonians.  Harese are an iron-based species from Haran, a planet at the center of the Confederacy.  Harese are taller then humans, stronger, but not very nimble, they have dark blue skin, no hair, instead they have ridges on top of their heads.  Harese are the politicians and leaders of the Confederacy, and look down on all the other species, especially Galxthoricans.  The planets of the Galxthorican Confederacy are: Haran, the new capital, Galxthr, the old capital, Jymor, Zifon, Ultara, and Prothen prime, the deserted home world of the Prothesnos, now the garbage dump world of the Confederacy.  The symbol of the GC is four gears, representing the four species, connected by a circle of chains, on the inside of the circle, the gears are connected by four pipes, surrounded by an orange background.  The Confederacy is, along with the Republic of Man,  the youngest nation in the Adronus, more then a thousand years ago,  galxthoricans, zifonians, maldos, and harese lived in the Urub Empire, but the four races were tired of the Empire, so they fought a war for their Independence, later called the Galxthorican Revolutionary War, so they claimed their home worlds, Ultara, and later abandoned Prothen prime.  The GC is ruled by a council, and the main language is harese.

The origin of faeries.

In the beginning, when God created the angels, he made a lower form of angelic being, nature people, to watch over the earth and to help newborns.  And God chose seven Seraphim, who's names are only known to the faerie to watch over and lead the nature people.  But Satan saw what God had done, so he took daemons and beasts of the earth, sea, and air, and changed them into abominations and monsters, foremost among them are the Nephilim, they were also made so they only existed on the Physical plane.  And Satan placed daemons over the monsters as masters, and their names are: Nergal, Baphomet, Asmodeus, Baal, and Lilith.

The origin of the Gray Plateau.-From the library of the White Mages.

Nazet heard the call, he closed the Unholy Tome and walked to the balcony and saw his four companion necromancers standing at a point on the giant pentagram, the head of the star was for Nazet.  He walked down to the pentacle and took his place and started the incantation.  The Sunrise Plateau was a lush plateau before the Five Great Necromancers turned it into what it is now, it used to be common ground for all races. The Necromancers, Nazet, Elmed, Evtr, Surk, and Jasha, had, for years, been gathering corpses and bones, warstitched (sown together bodies of warriors), whits, , ghasts, ghouls, vampires, shades, and lesser necromancers and liches, in the making of an undead nation.  They had hired mercenaries and used evil sorcery against Sunrise Plateau, to wither it, to kill anyone living there, finally, it was ready for rising their undead legions.  Once the incantation was done, all the corpses and bones came to life and the other undead were summoned to the Plateau, now the Necrotic Plateau.  The Necromancers taught the legions how to build, fight, smith,  and plan, and their legions built a city, Bane, and made a shrine for each Necromancer.  The Necromancers sealed the power that kept the undead animated in an object and put it in a chest, then put it in the vaults of Bane   Years later, Jasha and Elmed were both killed by witch hunters, Evtr committed suicide because of depression, Surk was killed in a spell duel, and Nazet, had turned himself into a lich, locked himself in his tower, never to be seen again.
